Pictures going up
All in all, 4,447 photos were taken on our vacation. Our camera is the Canon EOS 50D which has an auto feature on it that will take pictures like you're firing a machine gun. Just hold the button down and it goes crazy. Used it to take shots of surfers in action, as well as fireknife dancers in action. Oh and then there were the whales. Every time we sat on our Lanai (Balcony) we saw whales. Took hundreds of photos of them. I'm in the process of grabbing some of the better ones, blowing them up, and touching them a tad so folks can see them clearly.

In the meantime, I've taken the better photos out of the different sets of photos. 10 sets are in our photo section now for people to see. Hope you like them.

We're back
This is our first full day back. Amazing how many emails you get in a week and how long it takes to go through them.

Only real drama on the way back was in Atlanta where the ground crew were the most incompetent people Hartsfield Airport could hire. These people couldn't figure out how to get Samantha's wheelchair up into the plane like every other ground crew could on the whole trip. These people were so bad they couldn't find their butts if it itched and they desperately needed to scratch it.

For Atlanta to be the only mess up I say the travel portion of the trip was a rousing success.

Had the most wonderful "Finale" at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Larry and Pablo, if you read this, THANK YOU for a most wonderful experience. I'll have the photos up before the week is out.

Cannot wait until next summer when we plan to return. We're North Shore folks through and through so it's Turtle Bay or a tent on Sunset Beach. :)

In Hawaii
While we get ready to go out for the day again I wanted to stop in and do an update. We got to the Hale Koa Saturday night in Waikiki. Downstairs things seemed just like we remembered them - Nice resort looking place. First problem came when Carlene was told there was no valet parking. Now that may not seem much like a problem but when you have Sam in her wheelchair, Wyatt, Sam's suction machine, and backpack plus a few other things - You like the idea of your car being right there waiting for you to load up and go. Not at the Hale Koa. You have to walk clear off the grounds and across two crosswalks and then some to the garage. Then if the elevator isn't working like the night we were there you have to push Sam's wheelchair up two ramps to get to the car.....

9 hours and counting
Well we'll be on the plane in 9 and a half hours. As I type there is major thunderstorms passing through the area. Somebody must be having fun with me because I wouldn't be surprised if a tornado comes through and blows Fayetteville off the map. Just kidding. I won't be updating pictures while we're gone because my mini won't run my web programs worth a darn. Things should get pretty interesting in just a few hours.

Trip to Charleston
I'm going to try to keep this updated a little better. Getting Carlene to write here is like pulling teeth sometime. Then again I know getting me to do something sometimes can be just as bad.

Saturday March 21st, would be 16 years since I first wrestled a match. Didn't realize that until uploading the photos from yesterday. Interesting.....

Anyhow - Carlene wanted to see some of the hand made baskets that people sell on a stretch of road south of Myrtle Beach on the way to Charleston. So we were off......

Starting Fresh
I archived all of the old news items to clear off the front page here. I also limited the comments because automated spam bots had blasted the comments section.
